Join Makers & Merchants for a special seasonal supper celebrating the changing seasons, following the huge success of their Midsummer Supper. Expect a delicious harvest-inspired menu that puts seasonal vegetables centre stage, complemented by carefully selected wines and wonderful local produce.

The evening begins with seasonal canapés, a glass of their bestselling French Gratien & Meyer Crémant and a few words from a special guest speaker, before settling in for a memorable feast.

The Menu:

Begin with warming pumpkin soup and locally milled bread, paired with a Portuguese white wine. For the main course, enjoy a show-stopping vegetable pie at the heart of the table, served with a fresh herb salad, with chicken and ham on the side. This is accompanied by a fine red Côtes du Rhône from the Darriaud vineyard in France.

For pudding, indulge in a seasonal bread and butter pudding made with Italian panettone from a family bakery in Veneto, finished with a dash of our own cider syrup and served with lashings of fresh cream. A glass of Maculan Dindarello dessert wine from Veneto completes this course beautifully.

To finish, enjoy locally produced cider-washed cheese with figs freshly picked from our gardens, paired with a glass of Spanish Rioja. And for those with room for one last treat, there may even be a Somerset Cider Brandy chocolate from our chocolatier.

A carefully selected glass of wine is included with each course, with a selection of bottles available to purchase and enjoy throughout the evening.
