Coming soon... A Garden Love Story: In conversation with Paul Weiland OBE

A Snowdrops Festival Event. Ticket information coming soon.

Join us in the Kilver Court Ballroom on Friday 5th February 2027 for a special talk with filmmaker and garden enthusiast Paul Weiland OBE, as he shares the remarkable story behind the restoration of Belcombe Court and its gardens.

For more than 30 years, Paul and his wife Caroline have lovingly transformed the historic estate and former clothier’s house, bringing its Georgian landscape back to life with patience, passion and an extraordinary eye for detail.

Discover the story behind A Garden Love Story, Paul’s beautifully illustrated book, which follows the history of Belcombe Court and its gardens through the seasons. From fern-filled courtyards and Gothic archways to a hidden grotto, hear how an overgrown and neglected landscape was gradually transformed into a garden where history, horticulture and imagination come together.

A wonderful opportunity to hear directly from Paul about his journey, his love of gardens and the inspiration behind one of Somerset’s most fascinating private landscapes.
