We’re thrilled to announce that Charles Dowding, the pioneer of No Dig Gardening, will be giving an inspiring talk at Kilver Court on Friday 21st February 2025.

As part of the Shepton Mallet Snowdrops Festival, this event offers an unmissable opportunity to learn from one of the most respected figures in sustainable gardening.

Drawing on over 40 years of expertise, Charles will explore the principles of no dig methods and share invaluable advice for maintaining a healthy and productive vegetable garden.

The talk will cover composting techniques, clearing perennial weeds such as couch grass and bindweed and how to sustain a no dig plot using annual mulches. Charles will also discuss the benefits of no dig gardening, including earlier harvests, fewer weeds, improved soil drainage and a longer growing season.

This inspiring talk promises to be both practical and insightful, offering plenty of ideas to apply to your own gardening projects.
